LUX AMAYA

Los Angeles native, Lux Amaya, fell in love with performing when she first played the title role in “Harry Potter” at eight years old firing off a rap battle finale that tore the roof off of the local theater. Since then, Lux has been lucky enough to perform on theatrical stages across

Los Angeles County including the first post-COVID Regional Theater production of Stephen Sondheim's A Little Night Music, and to be cast as Eponine in her High School production of Les Miserables.  Most recently, Lux had the honor of performing to a full house at the Hollywood Pantages Theater as a Finalist at the Jerry Herman Awards.

When Lux is not on stage or in front of a camera, you can find this fiery spirit entertaining family with her spot-on impersonations, having impromptu Just Dance parties with her Theater friends, Archery practice with the UAII Native American Indian Involvement, and quiet time with her adorable (cat) baby, Hera Linn (yes, an ode to Linn Manuel Miranda).

Lux continues to pursue training in musical theater via attaining a BA in theater at UCLA School of Theater, Film, & Television (TFT).

Lux aspires to build a long and successful career in all areas of the entertainment industry to voice stories from her Indigenous & Mexican heritage. She is a passionate, articulate, and creative artist who is community-driven with a self-starting persona that quickly identifies problems and builds creative solutions.
